Applications are invited for the post of Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) is to be filled up on a purely temporary basis for ICMR funded project entitled “Analysis of MEG3 Induced Genome-Wide DNA Methylation Patterns in Breast Cancer Cells”, under Principal Investigator Dr. S. A. Raju Bagadi, Sccientist D, ICMR-National Institute of Pathology.

Emoluments: Rs.56,000/- per month + HRA (as admissible under the rules) per month fixed
without any other allowance
Age limit: Upper age limit is 35 years, relaxable for SC/ST/OBC and female candidates as per Govt. of India rules.
Essential Qualifications:
First-class Master’s degree, including the integrated Master’s degrees in Nanobiotechnology/ Nanoscience/ Chemistry/Life Sciences (Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/Biophysics/ Molecular Biology) from a recognized university.
or
Second-class post-graduate degree, including the integrated PG degrees with Ph.D. in the
above-mentioned subjects from a recognized University.
or
First-class engineering graduate degree of four years in Nanobiotechnology /Nanoscience/
Biotechnology from a recognized University.
Desirable: PhD degree in the above-mentioned subjects altogether with experience in cell culture, noncoding RNAs, Epigenetics, Next Generation Sequencing in the field of cancer.
